Smokey Silver Eye Tutorial

School's out! This week has been a pretty busy week, i finally finished all my exams, left school and had my school prom, and im so happy i finally have time to spend on the things i enjoy again. Earlier this week i helped one of my best friends out with a makeup for prom, and thought i'd share it on here.
I used affordable drugstore products:

- Bourjois smoky eyes trio eyeshadow in 'Gris Dandy'
- Maybelline the Rocket Mascara 'black'
- Maybelline gel eyeliner 'black'
- Any white pigment or highlighter

1) apply the silver shadow from the trio to the entire lid with a flat eyeshadow  brush, layering on untill it's silver enough.

2) If you struggle to keep a neat line of shadow use cello-tape or a plaster and line it up following your lower lash line up onto the edge of your lid.

3) take a crease/shader brush and pick up the 2nd darkest shade, put this on the outer third of you lid and into the crease of the eye, winging it out by putting it along the tape.

4) using a fluffy brush blend the darker shade to soften lines but avoid mixing with the silver in the centre, then continue adding and blending this shade until the colour is smokey enough

5) on the smaller brush take the darkest shade and carry it along the eyeshadow wing and outer V shape of your eye until its as dark as you like & blend.

6) remove the tape and blend out the line and blend to brow bone.

7) using your flat brush run the silver along your lower lash line, then take the angled brush and run the 2nd shade along the outer 2 thirds of your lower lash, trying to connect with the line of upper wing. Then take the black and press into the outer third of lower lash line. Blend if needed.

9) taking the angled brush and black run this along your upper lash line, and then dip in liquid liner and push into the lashes.
10) take the white pigment and flat brush and concentrate this in your tear-duct area, carry it slightly into upper and lower until graduated. Carry same could along brow bone
11) tide line your upper waterline and lower waterline but not into the corners, add mascara and you're done :)
