Review: Bourjois Paris Bronzing Primer

This is one of those products i've been desperate to try for a while, so this week i finally picked one up from boots for £9.99. So first for the facts, this bronzing primer can be used under your makeup to give you a subtle all over glow, or used like a cream bronzer. It promises to have correcting airbrush action, matt results, and to be great for any skin tones, despite only coming in one universal shade. And of course it smells of chocolate!

Many have compared this to 'Chanel Soleil tan de chanel' Although i have never tried this Chanel product i'd say that from pictures they look quite different, the Chanel soleil defiantly looks like it has much more of a cream product  consistency whereas this Bourjois bronzing primer is more of a mousse consistency, however performance whys i can't compare, other than Bourjois being a much cheaper alternative.
I use this as a bronzer supposed to a primer, simply because i find the smell slightly over powering to use all over my face, and being as pale as i am, i rather use a bronzer to contour than for an all over colour. I lightly dot this under my cheekbones and on my temples (as it's matt it works perfectly as a subtle contour), and then blend it in with a stippling brush, and it blends BEAUTIFULLY, like seriously.
(Swatches: Heavy swatch, Blended)
This bronzer gave me a beautiful sun kissed glow, and looked so natural, It's not too orange or muddy at all, and really compliments my pale skin; Although i think this colour would only work for light - medium complexions. However one of the problems i did have with this product and another reason i would use it as a primer, is that is felt quite heavy on my skin, although it didn't look heavy at all i really could feel it sitting on my skin, and was aware of it being on my face which i rarely experience. However it blends and looks so brilliantly i can forgive it for this :)

Pros: Blends perfectly, not to orange or muddy, compliments a pale complexion.

Cons: Slightly over powering scent, feels quite heavy, not suitable for darker skin tones.
