Review: Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayons

In a drugstore makeup splurge this week i came across these new Bourjois Colour boost Lip Crayons, i was instantly attracted to them because of their beautiful colours, and the pretty big promises they make on the packaging. They come in 4 colours: Red Sunrise, Orange Punch, Peach on the beach and Fuchsia Libre- A Pink-Toned Red, gentle Orange, Peachy nude and Hot pink. They promise 10 Hours of waterproof, hydrating, comfortable wear, with a bare lip sensation, with SPF 15 and they cost £7.99 each.

(I picked up 3 shades: Left to Right: Red Sunrise, Orange Punch, Peach on the beach)
These are the swatches and as you can see they're super glossy and especially Red sunrise which is very pigmented as you can see here;Whilst orange punch and Peach on the beach still have good pigmentation they're more sheer than Red sunrise, however still beautiful.

These are the colours on my lips, they feel so light and moisturising, and look glossy without feeling sticky at all! So they defiantly keep to their promise of a 'bare lip sensation.'
I wore the colours for the whole day, and whilst the initial glossy finish defiantly doesn't last the whole 10 hours as promised, (more like a couple hours in my case but that includes eating and drinking), the colour itself stays on my lips all day even when the gloss has faded, much like a stain which still looks lovely.
I also really love the packaging, the wind up stick means theres no need for messy sharpening, and they also really remind me of the Clinque chubby sticks, however these are more affordable, and i actually prefer the formula of these Bourjois crayons, as they're much longer lasting.

Pros: Good pigmentation, Beautiful glossy finish, moisturising, perfect summer colours, and sturdy convenient packaging.

Cons: The gloss fades after a few hours, small colour range.

Overall i l o v e these Colour boost lip crayons, and hope they bring them out in more colours soon. I don't think it will be long before they blow up in the beauty world, so grab them while you can!
