Autumnal Lips

Autumn is the perfect excuse to start switching up our makeup products, opting for warmer and darker colours to match that warm and cosy autumn feeling, even though in reality here in the UK it's already painfully cold and wet; but none the less sporting a warm red or plum lip can help put an extra spring in our step, no matter what the weather.

Be Beautiful And Bronze!

The English weather has been soo all over the place this year, however in the past couple week's we've had more sunshine than we've had in what feels like forever. Even though the weathers not quite as nice now, where is has been so many people are sporting beautiful sun-kissed skin, apart from me that is. No matter how long a spend in the sun my pale skin refused to vanish. So after trying the St Tropez Everyday Tan spray and being less than impressed by the orange patchy results, i decided to try something cheaper.

Review: Loréal Paris Skin Perfection

Loréal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar solution
I was super exited and curious to try this Micellar cleanser, as i've heard so many people rave about them, however most are much more pricey or hard to get hold of in the UK. This cleanser is part of Loreals new 'skin perfection' range, i picked mine up from boots for £3.99, Which is a bargin for 200ml's of product.

So this cleanser says it is a 3 in 1 product, acting as a makeup remover, skin toner, and skin soother all in one; it removes makeup by actually dissolving it as the micellar solution acts as a magnet, capturing and drawing out excess oil and impurities, supposed to just moving it around your face like some wipes, which can cause blemishes. It's also completely fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin, and having sensitive skin myself this caused me no irritation, and my skin is usually very sensitive to makeup removers.

FINALLY Baby lips have landed in the UK, after months, if not years of these little babies being raved about all over the world us Britons finally have the chance to see what all the hypes about for ourselves! So exited intact, that i ended up getting all 6, despite 3/6 being colourless, i still couldn't resist not trying them all. Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balms cost £2.99, and claim to give 8 hours of hydrating care, with SPF 20 for 'Baby soft lips'

Review: Bourjois Paris Bronzing Primer

This is one of those products i've been desperate to try for a while, so this week i finally picked one up from boots for £9.99. So first for the facts, this bronzing primer can be used under your makeup to give you a subtle all over glow, or used like a cream bronzer. It promises to have correcting airbrush action, matt results, and to be great for any skin tones, despite only coming in one universal shade. And of course it smells of chocolate!

Many have compared this to 'Chanel Soleil tan de chanel' Although i have never tried this Chanel product i'd say that from pictures they look quite different, the Chanel soleil defiantly looks like it has much more of a cream product  consistency whereas this Bourjois bronzing primer is more of a mousse consistency, however performance whys i can't compare, other than Bourjois being a much cheaper alternative.

Review: L'oreal feria pastel toning conditioner

This week i was desperate to change something up with my hair colour, i've never been very experimental and always played it safe with colour. However summer's here and school has ended so why not. I decided to try L'oreals new pastel toning conditioner because it's nothing too permanent and the box makes it look super pretty! They come in the colours: Pink panther, peach punch and Lilac lavender. I was undecided between pink and lilac, so i thought why not use both to hopefully get a more multi tonal effect, and not be to pink or too lilac.

Golden eyeshadow tutorial - Prom perfect

Recently i've been venturing into the world of eyeshadow, up until about 3 months ago i'd always thought of using eyeshadow as quite a scary prospect, so i stuck to my good old eyeliners; However since purchasing 2 budget eyeshadow palettes i've been experimenting with technique and colours, and have found myself completely immersed in the world eyeshadow. So here's a quick and easy tutorial of my favourite golden    eyeshadow look right now, and hopefully i can help prove to sceptics like my old self that creating stunning look's with eyeshadow is easier and cheaper than you think!:)
